Simply Earth  (Photo Challenge: Earth)

A short walking distance from my home, the Sprague River bulges over its banks, due to spring run-offs. It’s a narrow waterway. Perhaps, some would describe it as a good-sized creek, nevertheless, it is a river.

The photo shows where the river water has depleted on its shore already. The river is a great place to canoe on or float a raft. But beware! The current is not to be trusted in some parts.
